Why Your Brain Needs Better Fuel
Your brain is the most powerful computer you'll ever own. Yet many of us spend more time fueling our vehicles than we do fueling the organ that guides our lives.
Read More →When people come to Peacemakers Life ReLaunch, many arrive believing their greatest problem is addiction, anger, anxiety, broken relationships, or the mistakes they've made. Those struggles are real, but they are often symptoms of something deeper.
God always begins with the heart.
In Ezekiel 36:26, God makes an incredible promise:
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." (CSB)
Notice what He doesn't say. He doesn't promise to first change our circumstances, our finances, or our reputation. He promises a new heart.
A restored heart changes everything.
Behavior modification can change actions for a season. Heart transformation changes a life.
At Peacekeepers Foundation, we don't simply ask, "How do we fix people?" We ask, "What wound is Jesus wanting to heal?"
Jesus is still restoring hearts. He still removes shame. He still breaks chains. He still calls broken men and women into lives of purpose.
That's why we do what we do.
Every Life ReLaunch. Every Bible study. Every baptism. Every conversation points toward one goal: allowing Christ to restore the heart.
When God restores the heart, everything else begins to follow.
What area of your heart are you still trying to fix yourself instead of surrendering to Christ?
Father, thank You for not giving up on me. Search my heart, reveal what needs healing, and replace my heart of stone with a heart that reflects Jesus. Restore me so I can become a peacemaker for Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
