There is a moment at every Peacemakers Life ReLaunch Experience when something shifts. The room gets quiet. The walls come down. And warriors who walked in carrying years of weight begin to set it down — one confession, one prayer, one surrender at a time.
What follows are four testimonies from warriors who experienced exactly that. Their words are unfiltered and unedited — because the truth of what God does doesn't need polish.
"The weight of the sins I have been carrying was burying me deeper and deeper. I was in despair I thought I could not get out of. Peacekeepers Life ReLaunch team, using scripture, made it understandable to commit to Jesus and restored my faith that my sins have, can, and were forgiven. I have gone AWOL from satan. And am committed to doing God's work."
AWOL from satan. That phrase says everything. D.S. didn't just find relief — he changed sides. He walked out of Life ReLaunch not just freed from the past, but commissioned for the future. That is what complete surrender to Jesus looks like.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." — 1 John 1:9
"Complete surrender. I have faith that I am exactly where I'm supposed to be. I was finally able to close doors that I was not able to close before. I look forward to my continued faith in Jesus Christ. And will no longer question myself about it. I'm exactly where I am supposed to be. May God continue to bless this program."
For many warriors, the hardest battle is the one fought inside — the constant questioning, the open doors to the past that won't seem to close, the nagging doubt that God could really use someone like them. S.D. found the answer to all of it in two words: complete surrender. When we stop fighting for control and hand it to God, we find the peace that has been waiting for us all along.
"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:7
"I am set free from fear."
Four words. But behind those four words is a story only God fully knows — the fears carried in silence, the nights spent in dread, the weight of what-ifs and worst-cases that kept F.C. bound. And then, at Life ReLaunch, freedom. Simple, complete, and real.
Sometimes the most powerful testimonies are the shortest ones. Because when God moves, you don't need a lot of words to describe it. You just know.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7
"My heart is restored. I love the lesson on 'I thank God for what trials I've gone through.'"
This is one of the most counter-cultural truths in all of scripture — that our trials are not punishments, but pathways. That the pain we've endured has been shaping us, refining us, preparing us for something greater than we can see in the middle of it.
D.J.L. didn't just survive her trials. She came to a place of gratitude for them. That is a miracle only God can produce.
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." — James 1:2-3
Sins forgiven. Despair broken. Doors closed. Fear gone. Hearts restored. Gratitude where there was once only pain.
